What is Truman Syndrome?

This is a weird ailment, more of a psychological than physiological one. The cause of this Truman Syndrome is the idiot box. Can’t believe it?
Ok, do you remember the 1998 film “The Truman Show”? The Truman Syndrome credits the that film for its name. In that film, a protagonist’s life is aired on television from the time he’s born.
It is a delusion that grips people and makes them believe that the TV show they are watching is their life itself.
